Options to Choose

Mountain hikes in Tanzania

Hiking on the Slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro (1 or 2 Days)

If you’re short on time or not ready for the full climb, a one- or two-day hike on the Marangu Route offers a taste of the Kilimanjaro experience.

1-Day Hike:
Trek to Mandara Hut and return to the park gate by the end of the day.​​


2-Day Hike:
An overnight at Mandara Hut and a morning hike toward Horombo Hut or Maundi Crater the next day.​​

  • Travel to Moshi

    meals before/after the hike

    (recommended: $50/person)

What's Included

Pick-up in Moshi and transport to/from Kilimanjaro National Park. All national park fees (conservation, camping, rescue, crew, etc.)

  • 2-Day Hike: Picnic lunch, dinner, and breakfast

  • Drinks during the hike

  • GPS tracking and full medical kits

  • Comfortable sleeping mats (2-day trip only)

Helicopter tours in Tanzania

Helicopter Ride Across the Peaks of Kilimanjaro​​

This 1-hour scenic flight starts from Moshi Airport and takes you east over the city and around Mount Kilimanjaro. You’ll get an aerial view of all Kilimanjaro climbing routes and fly over Lake Chala, the largest crater lake in the area.

Price: $3200 per flight (1–4 people)

Hot Air Balloon Safari in Serengeti – Ndutu Area

Available December to March during the wildebeest birthing season, this early morning balloon safari offers a magical bird’s-eye view of the Serengeti.

Price: $599 per person

What's Included

  • Experience Overview

  • Pickup at 3:45 AM for a night game drive to the launch site

  • Welcome drinks: hot coffee, ginger tea, and balloon cookies

  • Watch the balloon being prepared and get a safety briefing

  • Take off at sunrise (around 6:30 AM) for a 1 hour 15 min flight (weather dependent)

  • Champagne celebration after landing

  • Drive to a scenic spot under an acacia tree for full English breakfast with a live kitchen and menu options

  • Receive a flight certificate from the pilot

  • Reconnect with your guide by around 10:00 AM

  • Photos are included in the package and will be emailed within 7 days.
